- Role: Assign ChatGPT the role of an experienced content marketing strategist. This sets clear expectations for the insights it will provide.
- Context: Fill ChatGPT in on the details about Mark’s business, his social media objectives, and his revenue goals. This ensures the ideas are tailor-made for Mark’s situation.
- Audience: ChatGPT needs to grasp who Mark’s target audience is to ensure the messages strike the right chord.
Hey Chat, you are an experienced content marketing strategist.
Objective: My objective is to create TikTok videos to generate awareness for my store selling refurbished laptops. I want to use TikTok videos to build a community and to attract students who are looking for laptops. I want to achieve a $20,000 sales revenue from the series of TikTok marketing campaign.
Target audience: My target audience are students between the ages of 16 and 21. They are usually cash-strapped but want the latest laptops at discounted prices. They are also careful about the condition of these laptops. Hence, going for a quality refurbished laptop is their main priority.

Next, we channel ChatGPT’s creativity to build the idea content matrix, defined by two axes: content categories (X-axis) and customer journey stages (Y-axis).
This matrix is based on the principle that what we want to say isn’t always what our audience wants to hear.
In Mark’s case, he needs to showcase trustworthiness through insights about refurbished laptops, not just claim it.
This leads to four content categories that are aligned with his audience’s journey from awareness to trust and, ultimately, a sale:
- Mindset
- Examples
- Lessons
- Tips
I want you to generate a bunch of ideas for content on TikTok. These are all short-form videos and I want to use these videos to attract my target audience and to earn their trust so that they will buy laptops from me.
Now. I want you to create a matrix.
On the x-axis, will be the 4 categories of content.
On the Y-axis, will be the customer journey of my target audience.
At the intersection, give me ideas for a TikTok video (2 mins) that I can create that addresses the category of content and customer journey. Take also into account the nuances of their likes, dislikes, and interests.
